Lackagh Beg in County Kildare holds a hidden bawn beside a possible hall house, reduced now to a low scarp and ghostly pasture. The earth has swallowed the fosse and walls, leaving only a faint ridge to mark the boundary of a forgotten home. What remains is not a ruin but a suggestion, waiting for someone to imagine the lives that moved behind its vanished walls.
On level pasture. Traces of a fosse possibly enclosing a bawn to the N of a possible hall house (KD022-017001-) noted in 1986 (SMR File) are no longer visible at ground level, but a low scarp (H 0.8m) may mark its line.
