Bawn in Cheeverstown — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Cheeverstown in County Ireland, a hidden bawn and well west of the castle, vanished beneath grass and memory. Mc Dix found slight traces in 1897, but no wall or stone still stands for anyone to touch. The land may have swallowed a small defensive ring, a drinking place, or a forgotten boundary marker. What remains is the shape of loss: a circle of soil where human hands once cut, carried, and built.

Mc Dix (1897, xxxix, 170) mentions slight traces of a bawn and a well to the W of the castle at Cheeverstown( DU021-024001-). There are no visible surface remains.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
