What is recorded here
Bawn in Bunowen More is a bawn in County Galway, Ireland, but no visible feature or history has emerged to give that name a shape. The land may still hold a boundary marker, a lost doorway or a line drawn by hands that stopped attending it centuries ago. For now the place resists description, not because it is empty, but because the facts have not yet entered the story.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
