Crummy, Mullynascarty and Oghil mark a 1689 battle site in County Fermanagh, where armed collision broke the ordinary rhythm of the land. The date belongs to the turbulent years when loyalty, faith and survival tangled together across Ireland. Stones, soil and memory still carry the shape of that violence, even when the names of the dead have thinned into silence.
