Battle of Sandwich (1460) is a major battle site with a checked map point.
A naval battle between the forces of King Henry VI and the Duke of York, fought in 1460 off the coast of Sandwich, Kent. The Duke of York's fleet was defeated, which delayed his challenge to the crown and contributed to the ongoing Wars of the Roses.
