Bath Abbey, including its ceiling and stained glass, was originally founded in the 7th century and rebuilt in the 15th century, with later 19th-century restoration by the architect George Gilbert Scott. It is dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul and is significant as a major example of Gothic Revival architecture in England.
