What is recorded here

Barry St. Leger was born in County Kildare in 1733, the soil that made a British colonel capable of leading a diversionary army through the Mohawk valley. He carried that Irish origin into American wars, where British command hesitated and men bled for plans no one fully understood. Kildare did not ask permission before shaping the boy who would march into history.
