What is recorded here

In reclaimed pasture S of a watercourse and 600m W of the Morningstar River. One of 11 possible barrows (LI040-100002/012-) located within an area measuring 300m E-W x 200m N-S. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a barrow on examination of Bord Gáis Éireann aerial photograph (BGE 2562; Site No. 191) taken 03/11/1984. A Bronze Age barrow; part of a small cemeterial group. Its significance lies in its potential to contribute to understanding local funerary practices and settlement patterns in the prehistoric landscape.
