In pasture, on N-facing slope. One of three adjacent possible ring-barrows (CO010-063001-; CO010-063002--). Circular area (diam. 2.1m) enclosed by fosse (D 0.15m; Wth 1.8m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1500 BCE), representing a burial monument of a single individual, common in this period across Britain and Ireland. Its presence in a group suggests a local cemetery or ceremonial landscape.
