Visible on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 469-8), and situated on a slight rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass and scrub-covered mound (diam. of top 13.4m NNE-SSW; diam. of base 17m NNE-SSW; H 0.7-0.85m) defined by a fosse (Wth of top 4m; Wth of base 1-1.2m; D 0.45-0.7m) and outer bank (Wth 4.5-6m; H 0.75-0.95m) which is overgrown (max. ext. diam. 29.5m NNE-SSW). A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age, and representing a type of burial monument associated with single inhumations. Its presence indicates prehistoric funerary activity in the Derryglad area.
