Barrow

On undulating pasture 80m SE from the townland boundary with Cloghaderreen. One of three barrows (LI024-199002- & LI024-200----) outlying a ring-barrow cemetery (LI024-219/220----; LI024-325/-332----) 300m to W. The ring-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps, but is visible on OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 or on Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 10; AP 4/3626) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 8m. The ring-barrow is also visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
