Situated on poorly drained land in an upland area with a stream immediately to the S. The site consists of a small circular area enclosed by a fosse and outer bank. The overall diameter of the site measures 6m. (Pers. comm. Eamon Cody). Unable to locate site at time of visit. A Neolithic ring-barrow; likely dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 4000–3000 BCE). It represents a type of funerary monument associated with the burial of high-status individuals and reflects early communal burial practices in upland landscapes.
