On a slight rise. A low, raised, central area (diam. 6m) is enclosed by a fosse (Wth 2m) and a low, outer bank (overall diam. 14m).

A ring-barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its construction reflects burial practices involving central mounds encircled by ditches and banks, common in Ireland during this period.
