Barrow

In level pasture. A circular area (diam. 10m) defined by an internal fosse (Wth 5m; D 0.2m) and an external bank (Wth 1.3m; H 0.5m). The bank is best preserved N-E but cut by a drain at SE. There is a possible entrance gap (Wth 2m) at SSE. The overall dimensions of the ring-barrow are 28m E-W and 25m N-S. A central depression (D 0.6m) in the interior may be recent. The ring-barrow is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m).
