Barrow is a ring-barrow hidden in wet pasture beside the Morningstar River, not on old maps but visible in aerial photographs. It may be a burial place, a boundary marker or a forgotten gift to the land. The river, pasture and nearby barrow suggest a lived landscape where people shaped the earth and later forgot the shape.

In wet pasture 270m NW of the Morningstar River that marks the townland boundary with Rathcannon. A conifer plantation is located 185m to S. Possible barrow (LI031- 151003-) lies 15m to NW. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 48) of the region taken 03/11/1984 associated with Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline.
