Situated on a N-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A well-preserved circular flat-topped mound (H 1m; top diam. 7.8m) enclosed by a wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 5.5m; D 0.5m) with no surviving evidence of an external bank. Laneway to N destroys enclosing fosse. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
