What is recorded here

According to Coleman (1894, 35), there was a tumulus near Ballyleary stream named 'moin Tean an Rince or little hill of the dancing from the people having formerly met here for that purpose'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
