On a rise on a gentle S-facing slope. Circular flat-topped and grass-covered earth and stone mound (dims of top 5m N-S; 4.3m E-W; dims of base 7m N-S; 7.4m E-W; H 0.4-0.5m generally to 0.7m at W). It is known locally as the Paupers Plot. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
Mound barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. It represents a common funerary monument type in Ireland, associated with burial and ritual practices of the period.
