In improved pasture, on a level area of low rise, abutting a ditch barrow (TS066-097----) to the WSW. Identified during ASI fieldwork and visible on an aerial photograph (OS 2436/7). A sub-circular area (dims. 3.8m NNW-SSE; 4m ENE-WSW) defined by a conspicuous fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 0.15m) ENE-WSW. The monument is truncated by the linear scar of a former field boundary running ENE-WSW across the N sector of which there is no visible trace at ground level. A ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its presence indicates a local funerary tradition associated with burial mounds and earthworks in the landscape.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
