What is recorded here

On a gentle SW-facing slope, in improved pasture, 115m NW of forestry and 185m NW of the Ballynamona River. Within S quadrant of a field system (LI032-263002-). Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 186.01: AP 4/3609) as a small oval-shaped cropmark. Monument is visible as a small roughly oblong-shaped earthwork (13m NW-SE; 9m NE-SW) on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012 and on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013. Upstanding monument is visible as a small circular-shaped area (diam. 5.5m) defined by a fosse and with a circular-shaped area (diam. 4m) defined by a fosse, adjoining to S, as seen on Google Earth orthoimage 25/03/2017.
