Situated on high ground. Impressive bowl-shaped mound (summit dims. 6.5m E-W; 5.3m N-S; H 3m) surrounded by a broad deep fosse (Wth 3.5m; D 1.6m), which is enclosed by a denuded counterscarp bank (max. ext. H 0.6m). Summit of mound slightly hollow and overgrown with roawn and crab-apple trees. Bowl barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its construction reflects a significant investment in earthworks and indicates a ceremonial or funerary function within a prehistoric landscape.
