Explorer Tom East Barcloy inspired a bad poem once that rhymed 'fold' with 'cold' and nobody has forgiven it since. This farmstead, field system, and sheepfold combo is having a serious identity crisis about which part of itself is actually important. I think the fields are just jealous of how much attention the sheep get. Go on, count the windows and get it wrong like I did.
Explorer Tom Colvend Public Hall was built by someone who was definitely thinking about how much tea they’d drink while overseeing construction. I bet they were imagining all the dances and debates that would fill those walls, probably with a bit too much ambition for such a small building. It’s got a certain grandeur to it, like it’s waiting for a very important announcement.
Explorer Tom Newbarns in Dumfries and Galloway is a chambered cairn that had a love story go badly wrong next door. It’s got burials and pits everywhere, which makes it look like it’s been through a lot of therapy. The stones are just sitting there, judging everyone who passes by without saying a word. Spot the oldest stone and give it a name.

It probably thinks Dublin tourists are too noisy for its medieval modesty, so keep your voice down or it’ll shrink away completely. It’s the kind of spot that makes you question if you’re actually there or just hallucinating from lack of coffee. Stop the car, it's worth a
Explorer Tom Castle Point Hillfort is sick of people asking if it has Wi-Fi, considering it predates the concept of electricity by several thousand years or so. It just stands there on the point looking offended at the lack of modern amenities provided for its guests. Pop by and tell it it's looking well.
