Ballyhickey Wedge Tomb is a complete wedge-shaped gallery grave with standing roofstones in County Clare, built during the early Bronze Age around 2500 to 2000 BC. It lies beside the Rine River, two kilometres north of Quin and just south of the Clooney-Quin GAA grounds. People may have placed the dead inside its narrow stone chamber, while later players and passers-by have shared the same flat, living land above the ancient work.
