Ballaghaderg Bridge

Five-arch limestone road bridge over River Funshion, built c. 1810, having recent parapets with square-profile brick piers and metal rails. Rubble sandstone walls and roughly dressed sandstone voussoirs to slightly pointed arches.

This bridge serves as a reminder of the achievements of engineers and local craftsmanship in the early nineteenth century. It is of solid rubble sandstone construction, with roughly dressed voussoirs.
