Babbacombe Cliff is a prominent coastal rock feature composed mainly of Devonian-age slate and sandstone, formed around 380 million years ago through the deposition and compression of sediment in an ancient marine environment. It is notable for its dramatic sea cliffs and the nearby Babbacombe Model Village, a small tourist attraction carved into the hillside above.
