Auchinleck, Old House

Auchinleck, Old House is a medieval tower house believed to have been built by the Maxwell family in the 15th or 16th century. It is remembered as part of the historic landscape of South Lanarkshire and reflects the defensive and social architecture of Scotland's Lowlands during the late medieval period.
