Arnison Crag rises to approximately 250 metres and is composed primarily of Carboniferous limestone. It is a minor but distinctive craggy outcrop in a landscape shaped by glacial activity, and while lacking prominent folklore, it contributes to the regional character of the Lake District foothills.
