What is recorded here
Near the top of a tall roadside gate pier (H 2.4) to which it was affixed after having been found locally. (Its precise original location is unknown, but record no. KD008-018001- has been created to cover the original location). A small rectangular panel (dims. Wth 0.43m; H 0.28m) carries the Fitzgerald coat of arms carved in high relief. In the mid-1980's, part of a window mullion was in use close by as street furniture (SMR file). The exact location of this monument is unknown.
