Armchair Rock is a prominent coastal rock feature composed of Devonian-age sedimentary rock, primarily limestone and sandstone, formed around 380 million years ago through the accumulation of marine sediments. Its distinctive shape, resembling an armchair, makes it a notable and easily recognizable landmark along the Torbay coastline.
