Architectural fragment in Swords Glebe

Architectural fragment

What is recorded here

Swords Glebe holds re-used architectural fragments, including a section of medieval window moulding buried among the graves of the Church of Ireland. The stones may have traveled from a demolished chapel or a forgotten hall, carrying shadows of rooms that no longer exist. They remain visible in the graveyard, waiting for a person imaginative enough to see the lost building through their curved edges.
