Architectural fragment in Curraghs South

That is the smallest visible witness in Curraghs South: a broken strip of dressed limestone, still carrying the chamfered edge of a window embrasure, lying loose in the NE angle of St Patrick's church. It may have fallen when the building changed, been damaged in storm, or simply outlived the wall that held it. Whatever happened, the fragment preserves the exact angle and craft of a lost opening, waiting to be read like a line torn from an older book.
