Castlelishen is a ruined tower house in County Cork, Ireland. The nearby limestone fragment may have belonged to it, though no one living there knows how the stone arrived. That uncertainty does not weaken the place; it keeps the castle alive inside the memory of the land.

A rectangular-shaped block of limestone (L 0.49m; Wth 0.175m; D 0.175m), decorated on one side only with foliage in relief. At the time of inspection in 1984, the stone was in the possession of a farming family in the townland, who did not know how they came by it. In the adjoining townland of Castlelishen are the remains of a tower house (CO006-020001-), c. 1.6km to the E from the location of the stone. The foliage is not unlike that at the base of the spiral stone (CO006-019----), which is associated with Castlelishen, and it is possible that this fragment also came from the castle.
