What is recorded here
Three Forth's Hill in Ballyfinragh, County Down, still carries the shadow of a possible rath, though no date or owner is known. The land may have swallowed a ring fort, a boundary marker or a child's game repeated until it became sacred. Cropmarks hint that soil and seed once revealed what people forgot.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as AP Cropmark- Possible rath at "Three Forth's Hill". Recorded period: UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
