Leabaidh an fhir mhoir, the bed of the big man, lay flat in Annaghkeen when three large limestone flags stacked like a mattress for a giant. Costello wrote them down in 1924, but neighbours broke the stones up shortly afterwards to build a new wall. The bed is gone, yet the wall still stands tall enough to touch, carrying the shape of a story someone stopped believing.

Some 225m SSW of a cairn (GA055-001001-). Costello (1924a, 118) refers to 'three other large limestone flags lying flat … one was superimposed on the other … known locally as Leabaidh an fhir mhoir'. However, these were 'broken up and used for building a new wall' shortly afterwards. No visible surface trace survives.
