In Memoriam Ann Burrows, who died July 10th 1843, aged 66. Ann Winfield, daughter of the above, who died August 8th 1871, aged 69. Thomas Burrows, died June 15 1880, aged 69.
Ann Burrows, born in the early 18th century, was a member of the Winfield family, a prominent local family in the region, and her death in 1843 marked the end of an era for her lineage. The Burrows family, to which she later belonged through marriage, continued to be locally significant, as evidenced by the long lives and recorded deaths of her daughter Ann Winfield and son-in-law Thomas Burrows in the 19th century.
