Angels Well is traditionally associated with Saint Michael or other angelic figures, common in Irish holy well lore where such sites were believed to offer protection and healing. The presence of "rounds" (ritual walking paths) and an inscribed flagstone suggests a long-standing devotional practice, possibly blending Christian and pre-Christian traditions.
