What is recorded here

Am Port Mòr is a coastal bay featuring sea cliffs composed primarily of basaltic rock, formed during the Paleogene period through volcanic activity associated with the North Atlantic Igneous Province. The cliffs are notable for their columnar jointing, a result of the rapid cooling of lava flows, and their contribution to the dramatic landscape of the Scottish Highlands.
