Cliff

What is recorded here

Am Magh is shown as a cliff on the public map of Na h-Eileanan Siar. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Am Magh is a sea cliff located in the Na h-Eileanan Siar archipelago, composed primarily of basaltic rock formed during the Paleogene period, around 60 to 55 million years ago, as a result of volcanic activity associated with the opening of the North Atlantic. It is notable as part of the region’s extensive igneous landscape, reflecting the ancient geological processes that shaped the Scottish Inner Hebrides.
