Alicia Boole Stott

Alicia Boole Stott was born in County Cork, Ireland, where she later visualised four-dimensional geometry before leaving the place behind. She remained there after her father died and her mother moved the family to London, staying with her grandmother and great uncle until age eleven. That separation may have sharpened her imagination, giving her time to turn wooden cubes and projected shapes into minds that could hold more than three dimensions.
