This blue commemorative plaque records: Alfred Rowlett, herbalist and antique dealer, lived here in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. A well known local character and story teller, he claimed to have discovered Bunyan's Anvil which is now in a Bedford museum. Recorded plaque organisation: Eatons Community Association.
