Aird Luing rises to approximately 668 metres and is part of the rugged terrain of the Kintyre Peninsula. It is composed primarily of Old Red Sandstone, typical of the region's geological formation during the Devonian period. The peak contributes to the defining landscape of Kintyre, offering panoramic views and serving as a local landmark for hikers and geographers.
