Adam's Tower, Chirk Castle

Built by the Clugnet family in the late 13th century, Chirk Castle, including Adam's Tower, was later held by the Mytton family in the 17th century. It is important as a well-preserved example of medieval and early modern Welsh architecture and as a historical seat of local gentry.
