Aberfoyle Bike Park has given Rabbit Hill a fresh set of bumps and bends, and the village seems quite pleased that gravity is finally being put to honest work. The renewed pump track and separate jump line invite riders to practise balance and nerve, while the forested Trossachs beyond offer a much bigger riding day if you have the legs for it. Bike Trossachs reopened the renewed park in July 2026 after new track work. The asphalt pump track is designed to let riders keep moving with body weight over rollers rather than constant pedalling. Other lines add more demanding features. I made one lap in my head and cleared every jump beautifully; actual tyres and actual gravity are less likely to flatter me. This is a riding place, so choose a line suited to your skill, wear proper protection and give other riders room. It works for practice and for watching friends improve, but a jump is never an obligation. Aberfoyle Bike Co in the village offers hire and repairs, though any loan bike and access arrangements should be checked directly before you set off. Find Rabbit Hill beside Aberfoyle, with the village's Riverside Car Park and public facilities a useful starting point. The local forest visitor information explains the road and bus approach; check current park details and trail conditions before riding. Come for one careful lap, then see whether your legs make the same generous promises as your mouth.
