This stone commemorative plaque records: In the difficult days following the war 1939-45 Abel Magneron 1890-1954 here achieved a gastronomic standard which contributed to the further glory of the Entente Cordiale.
Abel Magneron was a renowned chef who significantly enhanced Franco-British relations through culinary excellence in the post-World War II era.
