What is recorded here

Single-bay two-storey gable-fronted former outbuilding, built c. 1855, with integral carriage arch. Now in use as offices. Pitched slate roof. Rubble stone walls with red brick and ashlar limestone dressings to openings. Round-headed window to first floor with replacement timber casement windows. Segmental-arched opening to ground floor, with shopfront inserted, c. 1985.
Built approximately a century after the adjoining former house to the east, this former mews forms an interesting pair of formerly related domestic structures. The modest scale and form of the building contrasts with the larger buildings in the street. The materials utilised in the construction of this former mews add colour and textural interest to the building.
