Hill (1886 -1977) CH OBE FRS Physiologist and Nobel Laureate Brackenbury Professor of Physiology, The University of Manchester 1920 - 1923 Shared the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine with Otto Meyerhof in 1922 for discoveries relating to the energetics of muscle contraction.
