What is recorded here

Wreck of the Amsterdam is shown and named in a reusable Geograph picture. The saved point is the picture's recorded map point.
The *Amsterdam* was a Dutch East India Company (VOC) merchant ship that sank in 1694 near the Isles of Scilly, UK, after striking a rock during a storm. All 22 crew members died, and the ship was carrying a significant cargo of spices and textiles intended for the English market; its wreck remains an important archaeological site for understanding 17th-century transatlantic trade.
