Woodpole National School

Dereliction has claimed the hall, but the timber doors and brick fireplaces still stand inside. The building is a trapped classroom where abandoned lessons wait for returning pupils. Woodpole gave up its children to the world, then the world stopped visiting. The house holds its breath at the crossroads, preserving the shape of every young life it changed.
