Windmill in Unknown Townland is a windmill in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps the sails cut the Atlantic wind while unknown people turned grain into flour. Maybe the miller listened for the rhythm of the blades to know when the storm passed. Imagine the wooden tower standing alone in an unmarked field, its shadow stretching across the townland at dusk.
There is a windmill marked on the 1st edition OS 6-inch map (1843).
