What is recorded here

Glasdrumman still holds the ghost of a windmill, marked only as a modern nineteenth-century shadow on official maps. The site remains scheduled, preserving the memory of sails that cut the County Down sky before human hands stopped their turning. Whether the mill ground wheat or simply measured the patience of the wind, its absence now becomes the point. The chart records what is missing, forcing imagination to complete the shape of the building and the life it sustained.
